His key responsibilities include Developing and executing the company’s long-term growth strategy Managing supplier relationships within the petroleum supply chain Leading business development and securing commercial contracts Overseeing financial planning, funding initiatives, and investor relations Driving the company’s expansion into lubricant manufacturing Shane has developed strong insight into the fuel wholesale and lubricants supply market, positioning Vision Petroleum SA to capitalize on the growing demand for petroleum products across transport, logistics, agriculture, and industrial sectors. Under his leadership, the company aims to establish a lubricant manufacturing plant in rural KwaZulu-Natal, which is projected to create approximately 230 direct employment opportunities while strengthening local industrial capacity. Operations Management Vision Petroleum SA’s operations team will oversee the procurement, storage, distribution, and logistics of petroleum products. This includes managing bulk fuel supply, coordinating deliveries to commercial clients, and ensuring operational efficiency across the company’s distribution network. Key operational focus areas include: Fuel procurement and supplier management Fleet logistics and delivery coordination Inventory and supply chain management Compliance with petroleum industry regulations Quality assurance for lubricants and petroleum products Finance and Compliance The financial management function ensures the company operates with strong governance, financial discipline, and regulatory compliance.
