Zinari Women’s Enterprise Fund (ZWEF) is Ghana’s first venture capital fund dedicated to supporting women-led and gender-inclusive small and growing businesses (SGBs). Managed by Zinari Capital, a women-led investment firm, ZWEF addresses the financing and technical assistance gap for women entrepreneurs in underserved sectors and regions. The Fund targets investments in high-impact sectors such as agribusiness, light manufacturing, services, and consumer products. With GHS70 million ($5.8 million) already committed—including anchor support from institutional partners—the Fund is now targeting an additional GHS50 million ($4.1 million) to reach its final close at GHS120 million ($10 million).
