usInvest in a Thriving Tanzanian Farm with High-Growth Potential

Finding Investors for a Business

AIDB-021249

Executive Summary

Our agricultural business is a high-potential farm enterprise located on exceptionally fertile land in Tanzania. Positioned to take advantage of both local and regional market needs, our farm focuses on cultivating staple and high-value crops, along with sustainable livestock farming. With access to reliable water sources, year-round growing potential, and a dedicated local workforce, we are uniquely placed to scale efficiently and profitably. Our goal is to boost food production, reduce import dependency, and generate economic opportunity in surrounding communities. Environmental stewardship, community empowerment, and smart business strategy lie at the core of our operations. We are currently seeking strategic investment to expand infrastructure, introduce irrigation systems, scale production, and open access to export markets. With the right support, we envision this farm becoming a leading agribusiness in E.Africa delivering strong social impact and competitive financial returns. We’re raising USD 250K–500K to scale farm operations, expand into high-value crops and livestock, and improve infrastructure. Open to both capital and operational partners looking to invest financially and/or co-manage a fast-growing, impactful agribusiness in Tanzania. This farm project was founded by Abbas Rajani, driven by a passion for sustainable agriculture, community development, and unlocking Tanzania’s untapped farming potential. With a hands-on approach and a clear growth vision, Abbas initiated the project by acquiring fertile land, building the foundation, and assembling a dedicated team to bring the vision to life. Today, our farm is managed by a Farm Supervisor, who oversees daily operations, crop planning, and team coordination. Supporting him is a growing workforce of over 10 full-time staff—who are committed to maintaining high standards of productivity, land care, and ethical labor practices. Our team blends practical agricultural experience with local knowledge, and we continue to invest in training, mentorship, and tools that empower our workers to grow with the business. As a newly established agricultural venture, we are currently in the early-stage development phase. Our focus has been on land preparation, team building, and operational setup. We have successfully tested the cultivation of lemons, oranges, coconuts, mangoes, and green chili, all of which have shown excellent growth and promising yields. While financial returns are not yet realized, key investments have been made in securing fertile farmland with long-term growth potential, hiring a core team including a farm supervisor and over 10 staff, launching pilot crop cultivation and livestock management, and establishing foundational infrastructure. With funding, we expect revenue generation to begin within the next 12–18 months, depending on crop maturity and market conditions. Detailed financial projections and phased growth plans are available for interested investors, outlining expected returns and scalability based on investment levels. Tanzania’s agricultural sector plays a vital role in the economy, contributing significantly to employment and national GDP. With a growing population and increasing urbanization, the demand for reliable, high-quality food sources continues to rise. Local markets in cities such as Dar es Salaam, Arusha, and Mwanza are experiencing strong demand for fresh produce and livestock products. In addition, there is a consistent need from schools, supermarkets, hotels, and other institutional buyers who are seeking dependable supply chains. Beyond the domestic market, our farm is well-positioned to tap into regional and international opportunities. As a member of the East African Community (EAC), Tanzania offers access to expanding markets in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and beyond. Over time, and with the right investment, there is also potential to develop export channels for high-value crops like avocados, spices, or specialty vegetables. With food demand outpacing supply and a shortage of well-managed farms in the region, we believe this venture is entering the market at the right time, with a strong foundation and significant room to grow.
