The company is seeking investments for expansion purposes and to curb the edible oil shortages within Tanzania and across its borders. With our tractor lending business model we are going to curb the problem by ensuring availability of raw materials throughout the year. Whilst producing the sunflower cooking oil to supply to the local market first, the company will also be investing its efforts into creating a wide range of other products such as animal feed and organic fertilizer from seed cake to supply as well. 1. The company is seeking about $ 6,000,000 in funding for a period of 10 years. 2. We have 30% available shares for any party interested in them. PHILIP MBUNDA - CEO Philip is an impact entrepreneur with over 20 years in the agribusiness industry. His inspiration with sunflower begun during his military service days at JKT Mafinga in 1991.His genius approach towards solving the edible oil shortage in Tanzania, ensures sufficient availability of raw material and friendly prices for sunflower cooking oil. Philip is on a mission to inspire and help more small-holder farmers to grow sunflower, to mitigate the edible oil shortage, but also protecting the environment, through the use of organic fertilizer from sunflower end product. 2. WHITNEY BONUS - CFO Whitney is an Economics graduate with a minor in agriculture. With an extensive background in agri-finance, Whitney works with small-holder farmers to reduce risk and increase investments in the farms and has been instrumental in the improvement of the company's financial performance . Whitney is passionate about Formula One and baking. 3. LILIAN BONUS - CMO Lilian is a tech and marketing enthusiast. For the past couple of years, she has been working to bring the company's brand on the global face. Lilian has also been pioneering innovation and technology within the company, which has been vital in reducing the workload for the small-holder farmers as well as scaling the business. Lilian is passionate about Formula One, space and travel. 1. The company's net profit margin is 48% 2. Operating margin 27% 3. Work with 400,000 small-holder farmers 1. COMPETITION The biggest cooking oil suppliers in Tanzania are Mount Meru (Sunola oil & Singida oil) and Murzah oil Mills (Korie, Korie gold and sundrop). There are also 179 small factories that process sunflower cooking oil and sell it in their local communities (kishapu, Obri, Singida oil etc.).Most of the small factories are concentrated in the central parts of Tanzania. 2. MARKET ANALYSIS The current demand for edible oil in Tanzania sits about 650,000 tons/year, which is about 650,000,000 L. The available is 270,000 tons, which is from both imported and locally produced oil, therefore a shortage of 380,000 tons. • 36% of consumers use sunflower cooking oil. The rest is divided among groundnuts, sesame, cotton and palm. • Current prices stand at 4200 TZS for 1L
