Executive Summary
WeCure Pharmacy is a technology-enabled healthcare company transforming access to medicines and continuous care across Zambia. Through a bricks-and-clicks model, we combine physical pharmacy operations with nationwide delivery and a strong digital health community of over 85,000 people. We have completed 13,000+ deliveries, distributed 70,000+ health products, and generated over $140,000 in revenue. Our core differentiation is a continuous care model, where we go beyond dispensing medicines by actively following up with patients, providing health education, and improving adherence, particularly for chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes. This drives strong customer retention, trust, and repeat usage. As the first online pharmacy in Zambia, we have engaged with national regulators as stakeholders in shaping emerging e-pharmacy frameworks, positioning us at the forefront of digital healthcare in the country. With a data-driven approach to expansion, we are scaling into multiple cities using our proven model, with clear demand signals from our growing community. Our vision is to build Africa’s most trusted healthcare platform, integrating pharmacy, digital health, and clinical services at scale. We are raising $150,000 in equity funding to scale WeCure Pharmacy through expansion into new locations, increased inventory, and technology development to support our growing delivery and digital health platform. Dr. Dumisani Nkunika (Founder & CEO) is a fully licensed medical doctor with frontline clinical experience at the University Teaching Hospital. He leads strategy, growth, and operations, and has built WeCure from inception to over $140,000 in revenue, 13,000+ deliveries, and a community of 85,000+ users. He brings strong capabilities in healthcare delivery, marketing, and product innovation. Chisambo Kakoma (COO & Chief Pharmacist) oversees pharmaceutical operations, regulatory compliance, and inventory management. His expertise ensures safe dispensing, quality control, and efficient day-to-day operations across the pharmacy. Brian Ntanga (CTO) leads the company’s technology strategy and platform development. He oversees system architecture and supports the integration of digital tools that enhance patient engagement and operational efficiency. Sharon Nkunika (CFO) manages financial planning, budgeting, and reporting, ensuring cost control, sustainability, and efficient capital allocation as the business scales. Supporting the leadership team is Mwambu Kaumbu (Software Engineer), who executes day-to-day technical development, and Uchizi Chirwa (Operations Support), who manages logistics coordination and customer service. Together, the team combines healthcare expertise, operational execution, and digital innovation to build a scalable, patient-centered healthcare platform. WeCure Pharmacy has demonstrated strong and consistent financial growth since inception. Revenue has grown from early validation in 2023 to structured growth in 2024, reaching $75,639 in 2025, with total lifetime revenue exceeding $140,000. This growth has been driven by increasing order volumes, repeat customers, and strong community-led acquisition. The business is profitable, with a gross profit of approximately $47,473.95 in 2025 and controlled operating expenses of $41,049.86, resulting in positive net income. Our margins are supported by high-margin products and efficient cost management. Our cost structure is primarily driven by inventory (COGS), with lean spending on marketing due to strong organic demand from our 85,000+ community. Logistics and operations scale efficiently with order volume, supported by delivery partnerships. We project continued growth, with revenue expected to reach $208,060 in 2026 and $416,120 in 2027, driven by expansion into new locations and increased customer retention. Overall, WeCure Pharmacy combines strong revenue growth, profitability, and a scalable model, positioning the business for sustainable expansion WeCure Pharmacy operates within Africa’s rapidly growing pharmaceutical and digital health market, driven by population growth, urbanization, and a rising burden of chronic diseases. Across many African markets, access to medicines remains fragmented, with significant gaps in availability, affordability, and continuity of care. Patients often rely on physical pharmacies that are limited by location, stock availability, and a transactional model that does not support long-term health management. At the same time, increasing smartphone penetration and digital adoption are reshaping how consumers access services, creating strong demand for convenient, technology-enabled healthcare solutions. This shift is accelerating the growth of online and hybrid (bricks-and-clicks) pharmacy models. In Zambia, the pharmacy sector is still largely traditional, with limited integration of delivery, digital engagement, and patient follow-up systems. This presents a significant opportunity for innovation. As the first online pharmacy in the market, WeCure Pharmacy is well positioned to lead this transformation by combining physical presence with digital reach. Our target market includes urban and peri-urban populations, particularly individuals managing chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes, as well as general consumers seeking convenient access to healthcare products. With a growing middle class and increasing health awareness, demand for reliable, accessible, and patient-centered healthcare solutions is expected to continue rising. WeCure Pharmacy is positioned at the intersection of healthcare delivery, e-commerce, and digital health, addressing both access and continuity of care, and capturing a significant opportunity within an underserved and evolving market.
