Executive Summary
Cartesian Solutions is seeking to work with VC, PE and DFI investors with portfolios of African growth businesses who want earlier visibility into the institutional risks that can emerge as portfolio companies scale. We help investors identify and prioritise issues across governance, risk and controls, financial and management oversight, founder and key-person dependency, operational resilience, regulatory readiness and board effectiveness. Our approach can be applied to individual investments or across a portfolio to help investors identify which companies may require intervention, where recurring weaknesses are emerging, and where additional support could protect growth and investment value. We are particularly interested in working with investors in African fintech and financial services, as well as funds with portfolios of scaling technology-enabled businesses.
