OurWork.life is an Africa-focused workforce intelligence platform connecting employees, job seekers, and employers through verified workplace insight and AI-driven recruitment. We are building the data infrastructure for the future of work in Africa - a market where transparency is limited, hiring is inefficient, and reliable workforce data is scarce. Think Glassdoor, but built in Africa, for Africa and able to report on the metrics and data currently unavailable. The Problem: Across Africa, millions of professionals make career decisions without visibility into what workplaces are truly like. Employers, in turn, struggle with inefficient hiring processes, poor candidate matching, and limited insight into employee sentiment and retention risks. Global platforms have low penetration across African markets, while local solutions remain fragmented and reliant on outdated CV-based systems. Our Solution: OurWork.Life addresses this through a three-sided platform: 1. Employee Insight & Employer Branding: We enable employees to share anonymous, verified workplace reviews across culture, leadership, compensation, and environment. This creates transparency for job seekers and a continuous feedback loop for employers. Organisations can benchmark performance, strengthen their employer brand, and proactively improve workplace conditions. We are also building a Top Employers in Africa framework, focused on SMEs, recognising high-performing organisations based on real employee data rather than paid placements. 2. AI-Powered Recruitment: Our platform embeds a Digital Recruitment Twin, an AI-powered system that enhances hiring efficiency and quality. It screens and evaluates candidates, generates structured summaries, and matches talent to roles based on skills and behavioural fit. This reduces hiring time and cost by up to 79%, improves candidate experience, and increases long-term retention by enabling better hiring decisions. 3. Workforce Analytics & Benchmarking: Leveraging platform data, we are building on-demand analytics tools that provide insights into employee sentiment, salary benchmarks, and workforce trends across demographics, regions and industries. This positions OurWork.Life as a central intelligence layer for workforce data in Africa.
