Founder & Managing Director — TransAtlantic Risk and Advisory Partners (TARI) I am the Founder and Managing Director of TransAtlantic Risk and Advisory Partners (TARI), an Africa-focused advisory firm working at the intersection of financial services, fintech, investment, risk and governance. I advise companies, investors and financial institutions on navigating the African market, with particular expertise in regulatory strategy, governance, compliance, financial crime risk, fintech and cross-border expansion. My role combines strategic advisory with practical execution — helping organisations understand market and regulatory environments, assess opportunities and risks, establish appropriate governance frameworks, and build trusted relationships across African markets. Having spent almost 15 years in New York across Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse before returning to South Africa, and subsequently holding senior leadership roles across African financial services and fintech, I bring a perspective that combines international capital markets experience with deep on-the-ground African operating experience. TARI is particularly focused on helping US and international businesses, investors and financial institutions understand and navigate opportunities in Africa, while also helping African businesses access international markets, capital and strategic partners.
