Femi OdunugaBiography
I am co-founder and Managing Director of Bomin Living, the healthy food business built on my mother’s agro-processing company, Bomin Foods. I lead strategy, finance and fundraising, and I am responsible for setting up the company’s structure, systems and investor relations. I also lead sales and distribution: building our wholesale network of supermarkets, pharmacies, health stores and gyms across Lagos, and planning our own retail outlets. I bring a background in accounting (BSc) and Nigerian commercial banking, where I worked as a credit risk analyst and corporate relationship manager at Fidelity Bank and in commercial banking at Wema Bank. I am also co-founder of FeaziMove, a ride-sharing startup. I work alongside my mother, Adenike Odunuga, who founded Bomin Foods and leads production and product development.
Company Overview
Bomin Living is a farm-to-fitness healthy food business in Ikorodu, Lagos. Through Bomin Foods, founded in 2021, we grow and process healthy Nigerian staples under our registered BOMINO trademark: plantain flour, garri, pap/ogi, elubo, fufu flour, dried fruits, honey, coconut oil and palm oil, with healthy drinks (tiger nut milk, zobo and fresh juices) coming next. We have produced and sold in small batches since 2021, and our NAFDAC registration is filed. We already own the key assets: a farm that grows plantain, a processing house built to NAFDAC standard, and a three-storey commercial building on the Agric–Isawo road. The plan is to scale production, gain NAFDAC approval and sell through wholesale across Lagos. We will then open a mini supermart and neighborhood gym in our building, and grow into a Lagos-wide brand with more stores and, later, franchising. Our training academy, the Agriculture and Agro-Allied School of Business (AASB, founded 2024), trains young people and farmers in practical agribusiness on the same farm and processing line. We are currently a sole proprietorship, with Bomin Living Ltd to be incorporated.
