I am the founder and director of LIDA Strategies Company Limited, and I drive its strategy to create the number one eco-friendly cottage in Sub-Saharan Africa, aiming to generate employment opportunities for locals in Taita-Taveta County and beyond, while also initiating environmental conservation efforts to increase tree coverage in Voi, and subsequently boosting Kenya's tourism sector.

LIDA Strategies Company Limited was incorporated in 2013 and will establish an eco-tourism resort in Voi, Kenya, to distribute the economic benefits of tourism to a community facing significant economic challenges. Our model directly connects this proven intervention—eco-tourism—to people in need by: ● Developing and operating a sustainable resort that attracts tourists seeking environmentally and socially responsible travel experiences. ● Prioritizing the employment of local community members, providing them with stable incomes, and reducing reliance on subsistence farming. ● Partnering with local communities to source goods and services for the resort, creating additional economic opportunities. ● Implementing conservation programs, including tree planting, to enhance the local environment and make the region more attractive to tourists.
