SSN has access to the MNO radio plans detailing exactly where mobile towers are needed to roll out 5G in South Africa. SA need a further 7,000 towers to complete this rollout and SSN plans to roll out 205 towers in this process. SSN has secured 42 sites to date, funding this Site Acquisition process from own funds. EIA and CAA approvals have been obtained and leases signed with the landlords on whose property the mobile towers will be constructed. They wait for building plan approvals and as these sites are highly sought after by MNOs, they will sign leases with the MNOs prior to construction starting. They require funding for equipment and vehicles (USD 167k) and circa USD 72k to construct each tower. They plan to construct 205 towers in the next 2-3 years. In this process they require additional funding for the next round of site acquisitions, circa USD 7k per site, totaling USD 1.141m to secure a further 163 sites. They plan to secure on average 2.5 MNO leases per tower, generating USD 2,600 per tower per month. These leases are signed for 10 years, with an option to renew fr a further 10 years. SSN is either looking for debt funding for equipment and vehicles, construction of the mobile towers and for the 2nd phase of the site acquisition process, or an equity investor to take up shareholding in this exciting business opportunity. The team is seasoned entrepreneurs, that has experience in various industries, but especially in the mobile telecoms sector as they have constructed 100's of towers for the MNOs throughout Africa. They now want to construct their own towers and leases these out. They have their own teams to construct these towers. The company is pre-revenue, but the shareholders have invested circa USD 900k in securing the initial 42 sites. SA require 7,000 new towers to roll-out 5G and SSN wants to contribute towards this milestone. SSN has access to the MNO radio plan that indicate exact locations where towers are needed. All the sites that are and will be secured by SSN will therefore be highly sought after by MNOs.
