Scodo’s Convenience Hub is a multi-service student convenience facility combining restaurant and laundry services strategically located near Osun State University (UNIOSUN), Osogbo, Osun State. The project is located at bethel junction, opposite Ogidan government school, Uniosun school road, Osogbo, Osun State. The facility has been purposefully designed to serve the growing student population and surrounding residential community by providing essential services that are required on a daily and weekly basis. The location is positioned within a high- traffic student environment where demand for affordable food services and reliable laundry services is consistently strong. Students represent the primary target market for the business. Many students live in hostels or rented accommodations where access to convenient cooking facilities or laundry equipment may be limited. As a result, they frequently rely on nearby food vendors and laundry service providers to meet their daily needs. The restaurant aims to provide affordable, expansive menu consisting different varieties of meal, high quality and hygienically prepared meals, beverages and fast foods tailored to the needs of student who require convenient and budget friendly food options. It should be of note that students typically purchase food multiple times per day, and this creates a steady customer base and daily revenue opportunity. The reliable laundry service will provide washing, drying and ironing services for students and nearby residents who often lack the time or facilities to manage their laundry needs. In addition to students, the business will also serve nearby shop owners, and the residents within the surrounding community. This diversified customer base further strengthens the market potential of the business. A significant investment of over ₦31,000,000 has already been made by me the project promoter toward land acquisition and construction of a purpose-built commercial facility for the business. The structural construction of the building has been completed, and the project is currently at the interior and the exterior finishing stage. The remaining work includes interior finishing such as tiling, plumbing, wall screeding, painting, interior decoration and installation of operational equipment. Exterior finishing such as exterior painting, cladding and signage, floor stamping and solar system inverter installation. The project seeks an investment of ₦30,000,000 to complete the finishing stage of the building, procure restaurant and laundry equipment, and provide working capital for initial business operations. The business will operate with trained staff responsible for food preparation, customer service, laundry operations and general facility management. There is a copy of the realistic cost of equipment needed, interior and exterior finishes of the building, working capital and grand opening ceremony attached for transparency. Based on market demand within the university environment, the business is projected to generate monthly revenue of approximately ₦5,000,000 to ₦6,000,000 within the first six months of operation. The dual-service model provides diversified revenue streams that ensure consistent daily and weekly cash flow. Increase in monthly revenue is expected with steady growth as brand awareness and customer loyalty increases.
