Meeting End Livestock Ventures is an SME registered in Zambia in 2024,we a beef cattle rearing company,we aim to grow into a state of the art beef producing company and also be a high producers of quality breeding stock to supply other farmers as we grow. Having had an experience in 2023 to 2024 season ,when we did not receive rains in Zambia,we are looking for funding to establish a 50 mt/day maize milling plant and 10mt/day sunflower plant,so that we help allieviate the problem in livestock feeding by producing maize bran and sunflower cake. This will also provide farmers with some cash crop other than waiting to sell to Government their produce,usually bought once a year This will help create employment opportunities We are raising $850,000 to start up a maize milling and sunflower milling plant,looking at the opportunities that lie in maize value chain,being stapple food in Zambia ,cooking oil is highly marketable in the country,as what the supplies is not enough,not for the livestock sector that needs feed Our team constist of 3 senior management members,experienced and high profile members of society.Mr Kennedy Likuya Katongo an experienced Agriculturist and Livestock farmer with over 25 years experienced as livestock and food processing manager,just returned from Republic of ireland where he worked for 3 years as a dairy manager.He has worked in a number of organizations:Choma District Dairy Cooperative Union in Choma ,Zambia,Azeeb Farm in Lusaka Zambia and farm Solutions in the Republic of Ireland as a Senior Manager Mr Farmer Noole an accomplished farmer and immediate past chairperson of the dairy association of Zambia with years of experience as a dairy farmer and Chairperson of Choma District Dairy Cooperative Union Mr Voster Katongo is a chartered Accountant worked in the civil service and also in the private Sector as an accountant complete the team of senior mangement We are actually still growing our Ranch, we started last year,we are actually still investing in our beef cattle rearing business,we also bought cattle breeding equipment and hope to providing artificial insemination and related livestock services. Like in the preamble maize is Zambias stapple food and as such ,market of maize products cant be questioned,sunflower oil other other hand is in short supply,we still have to import cooking oil.So the two crops are strategic crops for business growth.The livestock sector also require the bi products and they are in short supply as well
