Executive Summary
MFA (Mine Fine Agglomeration) is an industrial beneficiation and resource recovery opportunity focused on converting accumulated mineral fines and stockpiles into usable agglomerated furnace feed for mining and smelting operations. Across many mining processes, high-grade fines are generated through crushing, screening, handling and furnace operations. Although these materials can retain significant mineral value, they are often difficult to reintroduce directly into furnaces due to particle size, permeability and operational risks. This can leave valuable material stockpiled or underutilised. MFA is being developed to address this challenge by supporting the conversion of fine material streams into stable furnace feed, enabling improved resource recovery, stockpile monetisation and operational efficiency. The opportunity is relevant to manganese, copper, platinum group metals and other mineral processing sectors where fines management and beneficiation are key operational challenges. MFA forms part of Green Tree Group’s portfolio of practical industrial technologies focused on efficiency, resilience and resource optimisation.
