WeAfrica Technologies is a Malawian-incorporated technology company building Africa’s first integrated mobility, food delivery, grocery, and courier super-app. Our mission is to create jobs for young people, provide affordable and safe transport, and promote sustainability across Africa. We operate through three mobile applications (driver, customer, and restaurant/merchant), offering seamless services for individuals and businesses. The team includes Joel Jeremy (Co-Founder & Partnerships Lead), with expertise in regional business development, and a strong advisory network of local and international partners. Our leadership combines operational experience, entrepreneurial vision, and commitment to building scalable African solutions. Stage: Pre-revenue (pilot testing completed). Funding to Date: Founder-funded research & platform acquisition in 2024. Revenue Projections: Year 1: $500,000 (Malawi operations) Year 3: $5M+ (regional expansion in Southern Africa). Revenue Model: Commission-based income from rides, deliveries, and marketplace orders; subscription fees for merchants and drivers; and strategic sustainability projects. Malawi and wider Southern Africa face significant mobility, delivery, and logistics challenges, with fragmented services and high unemployment among youth. The African ride-hailing and delivery market is projected to grow 15%+ CAGR, with rising smartphone penetration and urbanization fueling demand.
