Executive Summary This proposal seeks financial support to establish a new university in Cameroon that will provide affordable, high-quality tertiary education to students across the country and beyond. The project aims to bridge the educational gap by offering relevant, career-oriented programs aligned with the national development goals and the African Union’s Agenda 2063 for education and youth empowerment. We are seeking a total of 65,000,000 CFA francs (approximately $100,000 USD) to cover startup and operational costs for the first year and a half of operation. 2. Project Background Cameroon’s higher education sector is growing, but there remains a high demand for quality institutions that combine academic rigor with practical skills. Many students are forced to travel abroad for programs that could be offered locally. Establishing this university will help reduce educational migration, provide local employment, and contribute to the national knowledge economy. Implementation Plan • Phase 1 (Months 1–3): Secure funding, rent and equip the building. • Phase 2 (Months 4–6): Obtain government authorization and recruit administrative and teaching staff. • Phase 3 (Months 7–12): Launch awareness campaigns and begin student enrollment. • Phase 4 (Month 13 onward): Begin academic activities and evaluate progress. 6. Expected Impact • Enrollment of at least 200 students in the first academic year. • Employment of over 30 teaching and non-teaching staff. • Contribution to national education and innovation goals. • Creation of a model for sustainable private higher education in Cameroon. 7. Funding Request We are requesting financial assistance of 65,000,000 CFA francs, either as a full investment, a partnership contribution, or a grant. Donors and partners will receive recognition through naming opportunities, co-branding, and participation in the governance or advisory board. 8. Sustainability Plan Tuition fees and partnerships with local industries will ensure long-term financial sustainability. The university also plans to run professional short courses and research consultancies to generate additional income. 9.
