Executive Summary

The project scope thus far is for a 200-hectare chicken and egg farm in the Democratic Republic of Congo near Kinshasa. This is a floor layering egg production and rearing cage system, with feedmills, cages, ventilation, hatchery, breeders and slaughter. The total enclosed area is approx. 500,000m2. The local government has offered us land to use for the project, with further assistance on getting utilities and security for the site. The site will produce 2 million eggs daily and 80,000 chickens for slaughter daily. From the design, construction, assembly, training, and continued oversight will be done by our company and partner, along with local manpower. The project estimate from initial planning is $105million. Final design and local construction company finalization will dictate final project numbers. We are offering the opportunity to companies or groups or individuals, to invest as equity owners in the farm. 5 Lions Management has over 20 years experience in real estate, agriculture, construction, asset and project management in multiple countries, USA, Morocco, Turkey, Egypt, Indonesia, Singapore. Its partner for operation for this project comes from Turkey and they have over 19 years experience with poultry and other industrial agricultural farms, with multiple project designed and constructed and implemented in Africa also. The farm is not in production yet so has no current financials. It will operate at approx 22% roi profit after coming online, approximately 18months. DRC imports over $3B worth of food annually, this industrial farms and others like it are designed to reduce the amount of import required to meet the daily/monthly/annual demand of local population.
