As General Manager, I'm mandated to take a fast-growing and high-impact organization to new levels, alongside a passionate and hard-working team with mentorship and guidance from the MD. I'm ultimately responsible for setting VIRUNGA ITINERIS’s strategy and leading the team to execute on this strategy. In particular, I mentor and manage all head of departments of VIRUNGA ITINERIS and Homestay Providers – who have significant autonomy in how they run their departments – while holding them accountable to results. I also lead all operations, public relations, and quality assurance teams.

VIRUNGA ITINERIS Ltd is a private company committed to protect wildlife and environment for sustainable future in the Virunga region through tourism development. The company seeks to develop a package of 30 days which allow tourists to spend more days in Rwanda besides parks adventures. Beyond the visits to National Parks, Virunga Itineris will provide Community Based Tourism (CBT) activities such as: authentic village tours, scenic walks, bird watching, boat cruise in lakes, local hills hiking, home stay, local beer brewery, local/traditional food, beekeeping experience, coffee/tea tour experience, biking in village, tented camp site, live culture interpretation, traditional religious experience/ museums & folklore, etc. VIRUNGA ITINERIS a suitable candidate to offer a comprehensive experience in the region drawn from a nexus of personal wellness, tourism and eco-friendliness to our environment. VIRUNGA ITINERIS idea springs from the realization that Rwanda aspires to improve standards of living for all its citizens in her Vision of 2050. The Country is aiming to become a middle-income economy by 2035 and high-income economy by 2050. The growth in per capita income over the years, coupled with a strong focus on the Creative Industry underpinned by a Tourism and Sports Strategy, provides an anchor for this Investment Proposal that focuses on Hospitality and Wellbeing in an ecofriendly environment. This VIRUNGA ITINERIS offer extends to her entire supply chain. Company vision, mission and objectives: Vision: The vision of the company is to promote rural tourism in the areas surrounding the PAs through cooperative, keeping in view to continuously minimize the tourism cost to customer as well as optimum profit to the company and to explore untouched part of the PAs. Mission: Mission is to maximise footfalls of the tourist and to provide comfortable and secured rural village homestay. To develop rural tourism. To develop Socio-Economic of the Rural sector To provide job opportunities. Objectives: To provide hospitality at its best leading to be a very special & soothing experience to feel at home staying away from Home. To create a feel to experience the benefits of Nature, the homely treatment, exposure to the Art and the Culture To make it a Traditional style home stay with fully equipped lodging for travellers with very earthy and a natural ambience.
