As a General Director within the Consortium Wendinkonte , I play a key role in supporting the planning, implementation, and monitoring of sustainable energy development projects across rural and underserved communities. My responsibilities are centered around project coordination, stakeholder engagement, technical writing, and ensuring alignment with regional development goals. The consortium focuses on delivering clean, reliable, and affordable energy solutions through public-private partnerships, and my role contributes directly to achieving these objectives efficiently and sustainably. 🛠️ Key Responsibilities Include: Project Planning & Management: Designing and coordinating project activities from initiation to evaluation. Developing work plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies. Ensuring compliance with donor requirements and national regulatory frameworks. Technical Support & Research: Conducting field assessments and feasibility studies for new energy infrastructure. Supporting the integration of renewable technologies such as solar PV, mini-grids, and hybrid systems. Preparing reports, analyses, and policy briefs related to energy access and rural electrification. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaising with local governments, NGOs, private sector partners, and community leaders. Organizing and facilitating meetings, workshops, and training sessions. Promoting inclusive decision-making and gender-sensitive approaches in all interventions. Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E): Tracking progress against performance indicators. Collecting and analyzing data to assess impact and inform adaptive management. Reporting outcomes to internal teams and external donors. Capacity Building: Training local technicians and community members in system maintenance and energy management. Supporting institutional strengthening of partner organizations. 🧭 Objectives: Improve access to electricity in off-grid and weak-grid areas. Promote the use of clean and sustainable energy technologies. Strengthen local capacity for energy system operation and maintenance.
