Yego provides turnkey solution from “Concept-to-Commissioning” including Technology, Operations, Management and Maintenance services in the following areas of Transportation: • Countrywide Vehicle Location & Tracking • Intelligent Connected Fare Meter (ICFM) • Taxi Ride Hailing Platform • Smart Card based Identity Management • eCommerce and Delivery Yego pioneered the formalization and regulation of the Moto Taxi and the Taxicab sector in Rwanda. Yego digitized the industry by installing Intelligent Connected Fare Meters (ICFM) on the Taxi vehicles and ushered in an era of Cashless Payments for Taxi Fares. The Yego platform provides unparalleled insights on the Revenue, Passengers, Route, Speed and Traffic density etc. which is very helpful to the Government Agencies and Stake Holders. Yego was awarded the world’s first license for ICFMs in Feb 2018. Yego currently runs 100% of the Taxicab industry in Kigali and has a majority share of the Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi Market). Yego is currently piloting the eCommerce (Marketplace and Delivery) platform that will provide Food, Groceries, Medicines, Liquor, Fashion, Electronics and more. Apart from providing ride hailing and deliveries though Mobile Apps, Yego also provides the Ride-hailing and Delivery services via a 24/7, toll-free Call Centre.
