My role is to set the vision and direction of our company and ensure that everything we do aligns with our mission to transform transportation in Kenya through sustainable e-mobility solutions. I focus on building a strong foundation for growth overseeing product development, guiding market expansion and ensuring financial sustainability. I work closely with our partners investors, suppliers, and communities to create meaningful collaborations that help us scale and deliver impact. Equally important, I lead our team in fostering a culture of innovation, accountability and resilience, so that together we can solve real mobility challenges. Ultimately, my responsibility is to ensure that our company balances impact with profitability making sustainable mobility affordable and accessible while positioning us as a leader in the e-mobility sector, both in Kenya and beyond.
Company Overview
Kazzi Mobility is a Kenyan-based e-mobility company dedicated to transforming goods and passenger transportation through innovative, sustainable solutions. Our flagship product is an electric cargo bicycle designed specifically for last-mile delivery in urban centers, as well as goods transportation in peri-urban and rural areas. Built to navigate Kenya’s challenging street conditions, our bikes feature a durable, locally-manufactured frame that accommodates riders of different heights and improves accessibility for all, including female riders. Wide 20-inch puncture-resistant tires and a low center of gravity provide stability on rough terrain, while a powerful motor supports payloads of up to 200kg making the bikes versatile for transporting urban delivery goods, agricultural produce, and even passengers. With customizable cargo carriers, our bikes adapt to diverse business needs, giving users flexibility across industries. By integrating mechanical parts that are locally available, we ensure low maintenance costs, easy repairs, and support for the local economy. Our mission is to provide affordable, efficient and eco-friendly mobility solutions that not only reduce transportation costs and emissions but also empower communities by creating opportunities in sustainable transport.
